Pickler was born Kellie dawn Pickler 28 June 1986. She had a turbulent childhood. She was just two when she was abandoned by her mother to escape from an abuser in her marriage. In 1995, she re-entered Pickler's life in 1995 and was given custody of her. However, it didn't go for the best. So when she was 12 the judge returned Pickler to her grandparents - who took care of her until she reached adulthood. With the loss of the parents of her, Pickler became too busy as a mother to her children. Pickler admitted she didn't get enough time for school, and she began to be a domestic worker at a very young age. Pickler was a member of the cheerleading squads at both her middle and high school.
