Felicity is an English actress known for her performance as Jane Hawking, the protagonist in The Theory of Everything. Jones started acting at twelve years old. She's been actress in numerous plays, television shows, and film. Her first role was in the TV film The Treasure Seekers. Then, in The Worst Witch (a television show) in which she played Ethel Hallow. The sequel Weirdsisters college was also filmed. Her first film, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has been in a variety of movies. The most notable of these was The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she became a household name for her work. The actress was nominated for an Oscar for the first time due to her performance in the role of wife to Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything. Jones received a lot of praise for her portrayal of Hawking's former wife. The film was based on the story of Stephen Hawking. The film was followed by Inferno which was a horror film that starred Tom Hanks. Jones was named British Artist of Year 2016 by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles for her outstanding talent and contribution to film.
