Melina Kanakaredes is an American actor who is most well recognized for her role as Detective Stella Bonasera in the CBS police procedural drama series CSI: NY Dr. Sydney Hansen on the NBC drama series Providence and The Dr. Lane Hunter on the medical drama series The Resident.
